As US banks are not meeting the demand for bridge loans, this profitable niche is mainly occupied by American investors such as endowment funds, pension funds, and private debt funds. The founding parties of Valvest Advisors AG consist of experts in real estate finance and professionals with in-depth knowledge in institutional asset management as well as advising professional investors.

EXPERTISE

Valvest has formed a strategic partnership with an accomplished real estate specialist who has originated mortgage loans totalling half a billion dollars in the United States. Real estate development experience is used to assess the feasibility of real estate projects independently and quickly. In addition, project plans are validated by market data; extensive property and borrower research is conducted; market participants are interviewed; professional third-party reports are analysed; and on-site visits are undertaken. Due diligence is conducted by specialists with proven experience in their field, including Newmark Knight Frank, CBRE, Fox Rothschild, Fidelity National Title, etc.

Board and Managing Partner

Denise Rich is a founding partner of Valvest. Additionally, to her long experience as an investor in real estate finance, she was, among other things, the main shareholder of Marc Rich & Co AG, which later became Glencore PLC, the largest commodities company in the world.

Roland Rindlisbacher is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Valvest. As Head of Asset Management at Cronberg AG, he is responsible for managing pension funds and private assets as well as two investment funds. He has received the Lipper Award several times for the performance of his equity funds.

Markus Lienert is a founding partner and managing director at Valvest. He has experience in institutional asset management and advising professional investors as well as being a member of the management board of Fenthum (Schweiz) AG, a Swiss fund distribution company. During his several years of professional activity at RMF and later Man Investments, he developed into an expert in the field of alternative investments. Markus Lienert is a CFA Charterholder.

Dominique Wagner is a founding partner and member of the Board of Directors of Valvest. In a career spanning more than 30 years, he has held senior management positions in investment banking, asset management and advisory to professional investors at Unigestion, HSBC, Amadeus Capital, Abu Dhabi Investment House and Fenthum (Schweiz) AG. He is a co-founder of Integrity Asset Management S.A. His expertise is complemented by training at EFFAS and AZEK to become a Certified Financial Analyst and Asset Manager (CIIA).

Remo Badertscher is a founding partner and member of the Board of Directors of Valvest. He has over 25 years of experience in advising private and professional investors at financial institutions such as AXA, Man Investments, GAM and UBS, for which he also worked abroad for several years. He was a member of the executive board of Fenthum (Schweiz) AG, a Swiss fund distribution company. His strong client orientation and professional knowledge are attested to by various further education courses in the financial sector and at the University of St. Gallen - HSG.
